WTA® was established in 1978 in Ludwigshafen, Germany, a major European Centre for the Chemical Industries, and is currently located at its facilities in Maxdorf, near Ludwigshafen.
At its Maxdorf plant WTA designs, develops and manufactures a full range of high-quality Bellows Sealed Globe Valves, Strainers, Check Valves, Relief Valves, Change-Over Valves and Special Valves meeting stringent specifications required by the Chemical and Petrochemical Industries.

One of only four manufacturers globally to claim this distinction, WTA® products meet the new Euro Chlor Standard, which defines demanding specifications for Bellows Sealed Globe Valves used for Chlorine applications. The valve’s design features a full safety sealing system enabled by multiple walled bellows, a sealed two-part rising stem, and a stellite-coated, conically shaped piston and seat.
